1.A Stradivarius is a stringed instrument built by members of the Stradivari family, particularly Antonio Stradivari. According to their reputation, the quality of their sound has defied attempts to explain or reproduce, though this belief is controversial. The name "Stradivarius" has also become a superlative applied to designate excellence.
2.Antonio Stradivari (1644 – December 18, 1737) was an Italian luthier, a crafter of stringed instruments such as violins, cellos, guitars and harps. Stradivari is generally considered the most significant artisan in this field. The Latinized form of his surname, Stradivarius, as well as the colloquial, "Strad", is often used to refer to his instruments.
3.Edvin Marton (born February 17, 1974, Tiszaújlak, Ukraine) is a Hungarian composer and violinist. He became known as the violinist of the skaters, mainly because Evgeni Plushenko. He won his chance to play on a donated Stradivarius in a world competition in Canada in 1996, from among 350 violinists. It has been lent to him for his life by a Swiss Bank. "The violin I'm using is from 1697, it's a Stradivarius and was actually played by Paganini over 300 years ago. I won the chance to play it when I won a competition in Montreal in 1996, and now it's in Belgrade with us."
